Farmers Save with Farm Bureau Insurance

We also want you to be aware of discounts your operation may qualify for. See below for the different discounts we offer to Farmowners and Country Estate policyholders:  

Mature Insured Discount - A credit applies if the oldest named insured is 30 years of age or older.  

Multi- Policy Discount - A credit applies to Farmowners policies when one of the following qualifying policies is on the same account as the Farmowners policy:  

• Farm Bureau Credit Partners Group Credit
• Family Auto or Business Auto  
• Worker’s Compensation    
• Commercial Package Policy
• Umbrella Policy  

New Home Discount - A New Home Credit applies if the dwelling is no more than 15 years old.  

Non-Smoking Credit - A credit applies if no resident of the premises uses smoking materials.

Protective Devices Discount - Dwellings that meet the following requirements qualify for the Protective Devices Discount:  

• Local Burglar Alarm System
• Central Station Burglar Alarm System (ADT)
• Central Station Fire Alarm System  
• Automatic Fire Sprinkler System  

Safety Management Systems Credit - A credit applies to the Farmowners policy if the insured implements a written safety/maintenance program through Farm Bureau Insurance or a qualifying third party.  

High Production Farm Program - A premium reduction applies dependent of Farm gross Sales receipts

Environmental Safety Credit - A Farmowners policy is eligible for a credit if the farm has completed all phases of one or more stages of the Michigan Agricultural Enviornmental Assurance Program.  

Michigan Manure Applicator Certification Credit - A Farmowner policy is eligible for a credit if the insured has obtained the Michigan Manure Applicator Certification.
